Electrician - Am I in the wrong business
Today received a quote for some electrical work I need doing on my house, don’t know if it’s me being tight but for labour only he quoted me £525 (approx $1000), took me ages to find this chap so don’t know whether to bite the bullet and pay up to get the job done or, shop around a little more. Hourly charge is £35 (aprox $70) an hour. Started me thinking that maybe I’m in the wrong business, mind ladders and me don’t get on, so it’s probably pay up time. Just a thought suppose he can charge more because electricains are not that readily available, suppose it’s supply and demand, something in short supply can demand a premium price, Mmm perhaps not a wasted exercise after all
